OwlCrate August 2016

August’s OwlCrate theme was Fast Times at YA High!

As usual, this month’s box was packed with amaaaahzing goodies! And! I need to get this out right now. This is the third month in a row that Team OwlCrate has delivered a book at the top of my must-buy list. First it was My Lady Jane back in June, then This Savage Song in July, and now- well, I save the novel for last, so you’ll have to keep reading to see what we got. (Yeah, yeah, I know – it’s in the picture πŸ˜› But be a good sport and read the post anyway and then act surprised when you get to the part where I reveal the book. Please and thank you!).

First up! We received a pocket-sized decomposition notebook πŸ™‚ Perfect for grab-and-go notes. And it’s got some awesome dinosaurs on it. Dinosaurs are always a plus, am I right? (Except when they’re trying to eat you…)

We also received a couple of super sweet buttons, one of which speaks to the witch in me: “Hogwarts is my home” by Taryn Draws.

And speaking of Hogwarts! We also received an amazing/beautiful/awesome/all-the-good-adjectives-in-the-universe art print by Susanne Draws. I love her work!!!

Next, we have an OwlCrate original necklace based on Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell. This book is on my TBR and I’m glad I have this necklace to kick off my fandom collection. I’ve heard amazing things about Rowell’s books (all of them) and I KNOW I’ll love them. I can feel the obsession starting already. πŸ˜›

We also received a Stress Relieving Patterns coloring book by Blue Star Coloring. The coloring craze is real and it’s addicting as heck.

Lastly! The novel! We received P.S. I Like You by Kasie West! This sounds like a SUPER cute rom-com and I’m SUPER excited to dive in πŸ˜€ The novel also included a signed bookplate and letter from Kasie, as well as colored pencils! (Perfect for the coloring book!)

Next month’s theme is Darkness. *insert your best evil laugh here* Can’t wait to see what OwlCrate has in store for us next!
