OwlCrate December 2016

Aannnd I’m back to being a month behind on my OwlCrate unboxing 😅 Better late than never, right? December’s box was EPICALLY themed. Literally 😜 The theme was EPIC. And, as per usual, everything about their box was awesome! I don’t know how they do it, folks – they’re consistently on point every month. It’s magic. Subscription. Box. MAGIC.

Read on to check out the contents of last month’s box and, if you haven’t already, you seriously need to head on over to OwlCrate’s site and sign up for a box (or two or three or all of them). You won’t be sorry!

First off, look at these magnificent Game of Thrones house-emblem coasters, courtesy of Dark Horse Comics 😍 We’ve got House Targaryen, Baratheon, Stark, and Lannister and they’re all so perfect, I’m reluctant to even use them.

Subscribers also received a cute Harry Potter mystery mini Funko! figurine! I received Hermione (Yaaaay!!! 🙌), but there were apparently 12 different options sent out randomly. That’s A LOT of variety, so check out other bookstagrammers on Instagram (#OwlCrate) and/or other bloggers to see who else they received.

Next up is a beautiful sticker designed by Miss Phi and inspired by V.E. Schwab’s A Darker Shade of Magic (which I still need to read). The quote on the sticker reads “I’d rather die on an adventure than live standing still”.

We also received two pins! I’m a big fan of pins, guys. Gotta rock those fandoms, amirite? 😉 Not only did we get an OwlCrate pin that matches the December flyer (and let’s be real, OwlCrate totally has its own fandom), but we also received a Lord of the Rings pin designed by Ideal Bookshelf.

And! We got an exclusive Chronicles of Narnia greeting card designed by the fabulous Susanne Draws! I love love LOVE all of her artwork 😍 She’s so talented and inspiring!

Last, but not least, the novel included in this EPIC-themed box was Of Fire and Stars by Audrey Coulthurst! I haven’t seen or heard much about this book until now, but I’m excited to start reading (and isn’t that cover beautiful???).

Thanks, again, OwlCrate!
