Alice J. Black’s The Darkness Within, Book 1 of the Soul Seekers Saga, is out today!! Happy Release Day!!! See below for a synopsis.
As one of their Bookstagrammers and Book Reviewers, I had the opportunity to receive The Darkness Within, and its prequel The Leak of Madness, from The Parliament House for review. Thank you to the Parliament House Team! Looking forward to reading these 💕🙌 Continue reading
I received The Upside of Unrequited (TUOU) by Becky Albertalli in OwlCrate’s April 2017 box and just now got around to reading it. (One of my goals this year is to catch up with all the OwlCrate books I’ve received as part of my subscription – because I’ve fallen waaaay behind 😅🤞 So you’ve been forewarned.) Anyway! TUOU was SO good! I LOVED it! Read on for my spoiler-free thoughts! Sorry, this is a long review. I loved it so much, I had a hard time limiting myself on what to say. Continue reading
I finished Honeymoon by James Patterson and Howard Roughan yesterday morning – read on for my spoiler-free thoughts! Continue reading
UPDATE 2/1/18: Good morning, everyone! I’ve been informed that the version of the book I received was just a TEASER for the full book of Magic’s Demise. What I mistakenly thought was a novella book (completely my mistake and my sincerest apologies!) was actually just the first six chapters of Magic’s Demise. With that in mind, I’ve updated my review below.
A big thank you to Ruby Fitzgerald for sending me a chapter-teaser for her book, Descendants of War: Magic’s Demise! Magic’s Demise is Book 2 in the Descendants of War series and follows the characters and events from Harmonies of War (Book 1). Ruby also included a ton of really cool goodies – all themed to match the story! Thank you, Ruby!!!
Read on for my spoiler-free review! Note: Since this is for the second book in a series, there might be a few spoilers (mainly in the synopsis) if you haven’t read Harmonies of War yet. If you’re interested in my spoiler-free review of Book 1, you can find it here. Continue reading
And I’m back with the book reviews! Well, just one. For now 😉 Foolish Hearts by Emma Mills was my first read of 2018 and 1) I loved it, 2) it was the perfect book to kick-start the new year, 3) it was freaking adorable and nerdy and hilarious and the characters were endearingly awkward and exceptionally witty, 4) I could go on, 5) okay, I will (see below), 6) I’ll be picking up more Emma Mills books in the near future. Read on for more of my barely-coherent and, more importantly, spoiler-free fangirl ramblings. Continue reading
A big thank you to Ruby Fitzgerald for sending me her second Harmonies of War book – Descendants of War: Magic’s Demise – along with these super cool goodies (which are story-themed 😆 How awesome is that?!) Continue reading
Hi everyone! Last week I received my Blind Date – Paranormal Romance box* from BookCase.Club! My review is below, but I’m doing something a little different this time. Since the books I received this month are actually part of two series (book 5 and book 9, respectively), I’ll be giving the synopsis for the first books in each series instead of the synopsis of the books I received. Because, you know, spoilers 🤫 (…I’m not sure how I feel about that emoji… Anyway.) See below for the synopses for book 1 of the Quantum Gravity series and book 1 of the Fever series. Also! This month will be my last month as a BookCase.Club rep. Be sure to check out the BookCase.Club website for the different themes available. Remember, you can use my coupon code Bedtime15 for 15% off your purchase on any theme 🙌 Continue reading

Happy Friday, everyone! I received my September BookCase.Club box earlier this month – or rather, it arrived, but we were away on our vacation so I wasn’t able to get to it until recently. And as much as I LOVED our vacay, there’s just something agonizing about getting a bookmail notification and not being able to retrieve said-mail, amiright? …No? Just me? …Inconceivable!
Anyway, I have it now and I’m a happy camper! And some super exciting news (that you’ve no doubt gathered from the photo and title of this post)!!! This was the first box of a new theme! Say hello to the Blind Date Case, which includes TWO paranormal romance novels each month! ❤️🙌 Read on for the synopsis of each book from September’s box and be sure to check out the BookCase.Club website. Each box is only $9.99 + $5 shipping per month AND you can use my rep coupon code Bedtime15 for 15% off your purchase on any theme! Continue reading
